Configurator Setup and Configuration Loading Issue
Updates
Dear customers,
On Tuesday, October 28th, at 15:00 CET (Central European Time), our infrastructure team performed maintenance on one of our backend instances. Unfortunately, this operation led to unexpected data corruption affecting several data instances.
To prevent further impact, we immediately placed the Hive CPQ application into maintenance mode while our engineers conducted a thorough investigation. After detailed analysis, we determined that restoring data from backups was necessary to ensure system integrity. The affected data has since been successfully restored, and we are closely monitoring the situation and verifying data integrity on a case-by-case basis.
Our delivery team is available to discuss this further and will reach out individually where needed.
We sincerely apologize for the disruption and inconvenience this incident has caused. We are implementing additional safeguards and procedural improvements to prevent similar issues and to maintain the reliability and uptime of the Hive CPQ application.
Kind regards,
The Hive CPQ Team
The Hive CPQ application has been fully restored to normal operation. All systems are now online and functioning as expected.
Our teams have completed data verification and service recovery, and we continue to monitor system performance closely to ensure full stability.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this incident.
The Hive CPQ Team
We are gradually bringing the Hive CPQ application back online, manufacturer by manufacturer. This controlled restoration process ensures that all data and configurations are fully validated before access is re-enabled.
Some users may still experience limited availability during this phase. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we carefully complete the recovery process.
Our team has completed the initial recovery process following the earlier incident. We are currently verifying the integrity of all restored data backups to ensure consistency and reliability before bringing Hive CPQ back online.
The application will remain in maintenance mode during this verification phase. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we complete these checks to guarantee data safety and system stability.
Next update will follow as soon as verification is complete.
We are currently testing the implemented solution and have begun gradually restoring access for customers. Each recovery step is being carefully tested to ensure system stability, so the process may take some time. We appreciate your patience as we work toward full recovery.
We have identified the root cause of the issue and are now working on implementing a solution and recovery plan to restore normal operations. Our team is focused on ensuring a stable and safe return to full functionality. Further updates will be shared as progress continues.
We have not yet identified the root cause of the issue. Our engineering team is thoroughly reviewing all underlying systems to determine what caused the disruption. We are making steady progress and will keep you updated as soon as more information becomes available.
We have detected a severe incident affecting one of our backend components. To prevent further impact while we investigate the root cause, we have temporarily placed the application in maintenance mode. Our engineering team is working to identify and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
We are currently investigating an issue where configurator setups fail to load correctly. This issue also affects some customers’ ability to create or modify configurations. Our engineering team is actively working to identify the root cause and implement a fix.
